E1202 - Polyvinylpyrrolidone, insoluble: A highly cross-linked modification of polyvinylpyrrolidone. PVPP can be used as a drug, taken as a tablet or suspension to absorb compounds (so-called endotoxins) causing diarrhoea. It has been linked to cancer as well.
