Cyclamic acid, E952 (i), is a subclass of Cyclamates (E952 ). The sodium and calcium salts of cyclamic acid are used as artificial sweeteners under the name cyclamate. Typically a white powder used as a sugar replacement. Also used in low-calorie food and drinks.
